The first-floor living area has exposed Queen trusses and purlins, a solid oak floor throughout and double-glazed sash windows.

In having to conform with current Building Regulations, the walls are extremely well insulated, resulting a light, airy and yet warm living space. For those of you with small chidren, we have fitted a detachable stair gate and all windows have safety catches which you can set to prevent them opening too wide.

Sitting Area

In the sitting area there is a wood-burning stove for chilly winter evenings and a widescreen television with DVD and Video player for when you get fed up with the scenery. We have also provided a number of books detailing walks and cycle routes in the surrounding area and we try to keep an up to date set of local event leaflets from the Tourist Information centres.
