We had hoped to be ready to receive paying guests by the Bank Holiday/Half Term at the end of May but this simply didn't happen.
May began with the arrival of sofas, beds and sundry wall lights, etc. and the thankless and costly task of buying all the things one needs for a holiday let.
Ian and Phil finished off the last few bits of joinery such as boxing in the electricity meter and fitting window locks. Neil also finished off the electrics.
Wooden venetian blinds were fitted to most of the windows with Lucy making fabric roman blinds and curtains for the bedrooms.
