The Peak District offers so many things to do, both close to the Barn and within easy driving distance, that we’ve dedicated a whole section of the website to them.
There’s obviously a lot of walking, rambling and cycling to be done, right from the front door and we have had guests who have never used their cars all week!
If you’re prepared to get in the car and seek out attractions, you’ll be truly spoilt for choice from country houses to gardens to theme parks.
We’re also well served when it comes to pubs and restaurants with The Greyhound Inn in the village serving local ales and good pub food.
We are endeavouring to actually do all of the things listed and then review them from experience – you’ll have to bear with us as we work through them all!
